The Boston Red Sox had a wild celebration inside the visiting clubhouse at Dodgers stadium after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 to win the World Series. The festivities had the usual assortment of champagne showers and cigars, but things got crazy when Rick Porcello stripped off his clothes and dived into an ice tub full of beer. The locker room party featured some karaoke, lead by Brock Holt singing his favorite country songs.
The Red Sox took a dig at the New York Yankees, blasting "New York, New York," and ended their celebration with a dance party set to "California Love."
While the players were enjoying their victory, Red Sox fans on the other side of the country celebrated in their own way across New England.
Fans at the Cask 'N Flagon erupted into cheers after Chris Sale struck out Manny Machado to clinch the series.
College students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst took the streets singing "Sweet Caroline," while another fan dove into a puddle of dirty water, a reference to Red Sox victory anthem "Dirty Water" by The Standells.
Everybody seemed to have a good time, even the cops, who were on duty to make sure things didn't get too out control.
Being in the air didn't stop some fans from celebrating, blasting "Sweet Caroline" from their phone.
