Hall of Fame QB John Elway joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. He talks about the lack of development for young quarterbacks in the NFL and what he thinks should be done differently. He weighs in on the newer rules designed to protect quarterbacks and how he might fare in today’s game. And he thinks you have to believe you’re the best if you want to actually be in the G.O.A.T. conversation.
John Elway: “Everybody has different opinions on different players; obviously we were all in different situations. I think you’d just like to be in the conversation, right? That’s the key thing is, if you’re in the conversation then you did alright during your career...Ultimately you have to believe that you’re the best and that nobody can do it better than you can. I think that that is a mindset you have to have to even have a chance to get into the conversation.”
