Cincy Spotlight Featuring Lowell Scott of Acute Hearing

Lowell Started working in the hearing industry in the mid 80’s. Working for his parents in their one location shop. Working one on one with the patients he learned to serve the patients’ needs first. In 1990 he bought out his parents and now has 3 generations working together. He has built the company into the second largest Nuear dealer in the nation. Growing to 20 location and almost 50 employees in 2 states. The patients first mentality has lead him to working with the Starkey Hearing Foundation. A foundation that gives the gift of hearing to needy of the world. Supporting and participating in hearing mission in Africa, Peru, Mexico, and the Philippians. Giving the gift of hearing to people in need around the world inspired him to try to do something here at home. He worked to organize local providers and put a local mission on in Kentucky. That mission provided almost 200 hearing aids to people who could not afford them. That spirt lives on now as he is currently working to put another one together for the greater Cincinnati area. In his free time he has coached soccer, basketball and football.
