Colin Cowherd: Cowboys Are Good at 'Fantasy Football', Not Real Football

Colin Cowherd: “'I’ll give the Dallas Cowboys credit for this – they just kept fighting… But what do they do well? ‘Compete to the end’? But there were multiple fumbles, two fake punts, lousy execution, weird late game strategy… It’s not just schemes, they’re not close defensively in the secondary. They have talented INDIVIDUALS, I would not deny that, but what COLLECTIVELY does Dallas do well? What can you put your arms around? OK, they competed to the end – but you’re paid to do that. When I see Dallas I see Amari Cooper, Zeke, and Dak, but they’re starting to look at lot like last year. Zeke is going to get a lot of yards, Dak is going to have a lot of yards, they’re going to have three 1,000-yard receivers, but they’re not going to be able to beat good teams. They look like LAST YEAR. You’re going to get some individual performances, but collectively what do you rely on?? This is a good fantasy team, it’s a good highlights team, but do you believe this morning that it’s a good FOOTBALL team? I DON’T… I don’t think they have an identity, I think they are who we thought they were – individually talented, but collectively a big bowl of ‘ehhhhh.’” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the Cowboys' heroic comeback victory over the flatlining Atlanta Falcons on Sunday was simply a temporary triumph for a team Colin says is exactly the same as they were last year when they morbidly underachieved and failed to win the NFC East.

Check out the video above as Colin details why he thinks the Cowboys are simply a mediocre ‘Fantasy Football’ team that will always post some gaudy numbers in the stats sheet, but one that really isn’t that formidable as anything heftier than 8-8 or 9-7.
