Matches continued on Center Court with a matchup of world #2 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain facing off with Serbia's Hamad Medjedovic.

Medjedovic's road to this match saw him knock off American Aleksandar Kovacevic in the 1st round, and the Netherlands Tallon Griekspoor in the 2nd.

Alcaraz defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina's Damir Dzumhur in the 2nd round after receiving a 1st round bye as the #2 seed in the tournament.

The 1st and 2nd set in this match were almost identical with Alcaraz getting 3 service breaks to Medjedovic's 1. This match only took 1 hour and 34 for minutes for Alcaraz to punch his ticket into the round of 16.

Carlos Alcaraz defeats Hamad Medjedovic 6-4,6-4.

Alcaraz will face Luca Nardi of Italy in the round of 16.
